There are currently over 6.5 million patients on NHS waiting lists – one in ten of the population. As the cold winter weather sweeps across the UK, the NHS becomes even more overwhelmed with fractures and broken bones caused by trips and falls – making this the busiest time of year for experienced orthopaedic consultant surgeons.
Dr Ahmad Malik, an experienced orthopedic consultant, was happily married with young children, highly successful, respected and well-liked by colleagues and patients alike. Yet in 2023, his illustrious career was shattered at the height of its power, simply for speaking the truth and raising questions.
Believing that being healthy is the “ultimate expression of freedom”, he is passionate about the issue and has educated patients through his hit podcast. But what does “health” mean in 2024? Do we need the NHS to keep us healthy? Should we trust the NHS and is it keeping us “safe”?
When the World Health Organisation announced the COVID-19 pandemic in 2019, Dr Malik began to ask questions: What were the red flags that warned him that things were not as they seemed? Ahmad gives viewers a glimpse into his personal life and the impact and consequences on his wife and young family. How were doctors treated during the 'pandemic'? What advice and support did they receive regarding vaccines? Ahmad gives us fascinating insights into how doctors coped then and how they are coping, or not, now.
In this interview, we explore whether medical ethics still exist, what “informed consent” means when it comes to injections, and whether there was ever any informed consent at all. Dr. Malik also shares his honest thoughts on the relationship between the pharmaceutical industry and doctors.
Since speaking out and questioning his case, Ahmad, who worked two days a week in private practice, has lost his job, his profession, his career, his patients and his income. With a young family to support and a mortgage to pay, what does the future hold for him and the other doctors who have bravely spoken out and challenged the “science”? Here's why he sleeps easy.
Ahmad Malik was compelled to reinvent himself as a professional podcaster. His passion is contagious and he continues his quest for the truth as he interviews experts, public figures and celebrities from around the world whose voices are silenced by governments and professional associations.
Which experts can we trust? How can we “take back control”? Ahmad tells his colleagues: “Be brave and speak up. You can't put a price on freedom.”
