In the first half of this interview, Iurie Rosca discusses his life phase as an anti-Communist Christian dissident, followed by his anti-corruption activism in the early days of Moldova's independence, and how, by 2009, he had become a leading candidate in the country's presidential elections.
Rosca details how he resisted the American and European demands to align his country and its constitution with LGBT ideals, and spends the first 15 minutes of the second half of the interview explaining why he was appointed political commissar. He explained why he strongly resisted Russian military incursions into the territory of the Republic of Moldova through the separatist region of Transnistria. Moldova's other autonomous ethnic minority region, the Gagauz region in the south, was at risk of falling into a similar frozen conflict in the early 1990s, but near the end of the interview, Rosca noted his role in averting the bloodshed that afflicted other former Soviet republics during the same period.
In an analysis that at times resembles that of Albania's Dr Orsi Jazesi, Roska blames the West for why southeastern Europe is so impoverished, naming the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the World Trade Organization, the Bank for International Settlements and the World Economic Forum as the main culprits.
The middle section of the second half of the interview includes Roska's direct account from a senior American hawk that Mikhail Khodorkovsky was the preferred candidate of US Republican strategists and City of London financiers to succeed Russian President Vladimir Putin, a testimony consistent with Alex Cranor's banned book.
