AI podcast startup wins £50,000 grant to create advertising for small businesses

Start-up Klaxon AI has been awarded a £50,000 grant to develop a system to make it easier for small and medium-sized businesses to create podcast advertising.

The Peterborough-based company will use the grant, awarded by the UK Innovation Agency, to develop an ad generator that will allow businesses to create 30-second ads for podcasts in minutes.

Companies that use it simply tell the computer a brief description of what they do and the exact wording they want to use, and the AI ​​will generate an advert.

Klaxon AI co-founder Arup Biswas said the company will be a much cheaper way for small businesses that can't afford podcast advertising to quickly create professional ads, and that the company has already seen a lot of interest from small businesses.

Klaxon AI currently uses artificial intelligence to research, script, audio and produce podcasts: users select the podcast topic, length, language and audio, and the AI ​​creates a finished podcast in minutes.
