The Bisexual Brunch Podcast has been voted the number one LGBT podcast in the UK and the top bi podcast worldwide.
The show, from British independent radio production company Made in Manchester, will be hosted by broadcaster and journalist Ashley Byrne, alongside prominent bi activist Lewis Oakley and actor and comedian Samantha Baines.
Podcast aggregator FeedSpot ranks Bisexual Branch at number 6 on the world's 100 best LGBT podcasts. With only two bisexual podcasts on the top 100 list, and one in the top 60, Bisexual Branch is the world's top bisexual-only podcast.
In a UK-only study, the show was ranked number one in the top 25 LGBT podcasts, ahead of all other types of LGBT podcasts. There are only two bisexual-only podcasts on this list, and one is in the top 20.
The study by FeedSpot examined “the best LGBT podcasts among thousands of podcasts on the web, ranked by relevance, authority, social media following, and freshness.”
Each episode of Bisexual Brunch lasts several hours and provides discussion and entertainment on all things bisexual and pan. There are always unique bi journey stories from bi people and their partners, as well as features and special guests from around the world.
Actor Tom Ward-Thomas joins each show to review bisexuality coverage (or chronic lack thereof) in film and television.
Ashley Byrne, founder, co-presenter and producer of the show, said: “Not a week goes by that we don't have a bi or pan person from somewhere in the world emotionally open up to us and tell us how this show changed their life and literally helped them. “For them to understand who they really are.
