This year's Podcast Fan Study focuses on video. With over 170 million users around the world listening to video podcasts on Spotify and over 250,000 shows watched on the platform, video is becoming more core to the Spotify experience.
Among the findings: a growing preference for video among Spotify users, and that when podcasts are visual, fans stick around more, even if the show doesn't have a large following. I can list it. Additionally, people of all ages enjoy video podcasts, and younger generations around the world are embracing them. The format has unparalleled enthusiasm, and video podcasts don't require you to be glued to the screen.
