Not everyone is afraid. Some people speak their minds. Some people fight. And when people fight, the truth inevitably begins to leak out. At first, these leaks may be blamed on “conspiracy theories” or “bizarre behavior,” but eventually, as the dictatorship approaches realization, too many people know the truth. At this point, the establishment acts to silence its opponents.
Maurice Kirk was one of the men who caused endless problems for the organization.
Maurice Kirk is a talented veterinary surgeon. He has been fighting corruption on the part of the establishment for decades. He brought a civil lawsuit against South Wales Police alleging harassment after they secretly monitored his movements for an extended period of time. The case is scheduled to go to court in January 2010. It is now clear that South Wales Police, in collusion with the judiciary, intends for Maurice Kirk not to attend his trial.
In June of this year, Maurice Kirk was arrested on charges of possessing a firearm and selling the firearm. The gun in question was a retired World War I machine gun, which he acquired by mounting it on a replica of a World War I Airco DH2 aircraft. The gun had no trigger. It had a hole drilled into it. If you look at the photo, you can clearly see that the barrel is jammed. In fact, this gun is made up of salvaged parts from several other WWI guns for the sole purpose of making it look nice in DH2.
This aircraft, including the gun, was once owned by the Royal Air Force. It has had many owners since then, including Maurice. It has even appeared with a gun attached at air shows. Maurice sold the plane a year before his arrest.
Coincidentally, his arrest and subsequent search of his family home came shortly after he was asked to exchange documents with a lawyer defending him in a harassment case against South Wales Police.
After his arrest, Maurice was held in Cardiff Prison without bail. He went on a hunger strike.
Maurice Kirk has an adventurous personality. He is an aviation enthusiast. As a busy livestock veterinarian, he found that flying from farm to farm himself was the only way to fit all the calls into one day. One day, an American sponsor offered to fund him to take part in the London to Sydney Air Race, which he completed in 2001 in a 1946 Piper Cub. He then attempted to travel around the world, but was thwarted when he landed near George Dubya's ranch in Texas and attempted to hand over a letter.
As a result of that escape, Maurice realized how bad the world had become. Even though the Federal Aviation Administration agreed he had committed no crime, he was arrested, underwent psychiatric evaluation, and was deported from the United States for life. His plane did not go with him.
Moments later, Morris was attending an aviation-related gathering next to Prince Charles' home in Gloucestershire. He thought that if Charles was present, he would be able to deliver the letter. He wasn't, but that's what brought Maurice to the attention of Tony Blair's Fixed Threat Assessment Centre.
One of the problems the regime has is that they are not far enough along the path to dictatorship that they can actually start killing as many people as they want. Sometimes, like David Kelly, for example, they take risks.
For Maurice Kirk and activists like him, they don't want to attract attention by killing him, and they don't have the courage to face a full-scale trial. As a result of the trial, the facts become part of the official record. To make matters worse, the trial will have a jury, at least for a while. They are afraid of it because, as they say, the truth will come out.
Therefore, the Fixed Threat Assessment Center ensures that in these situations, rather than filing charges in court, the charges are used as a pretext by corrupt judges to order psychological and psychiatric evaluations. It exists to make. Just because a so-called psychiatrist says he thinks you need an evaluation, you find yourself “divided”.
And that's exactly what happened to Maurice Kirk.
Prior to his arrest, FTAC requested a psychological evaluation from Maurice's primary care physician. The FTAC expert involved was Dr. David James, whom Morris described as “smart, knowledgeable and kind.” Dr. James came to the written conclusion that Maurice was completely sane. There's no threat at all.
Nevertheless, after a 19-day hunger strike, someone from FTAC took Maurice to court on August 7, and an order was made under Section 35 of the Mental Health Act to imprison him in a nearby madhouse. . “evaluation.”
he's still there.
Since joining the Caswell Clinic, he has undergone 35 hours of one-on-one interrogation with the following doctors and psychologists:
-
Dr. Tegwyn Williams
-
Dr. Gaynor Jones
-
Professor Roger Wood
-
Dr. Ruth Baggenshaw
-
Dr. Joseph Sylvester
Dr Roger Wood is a psychologist at Swansea University. According to his profile on the university's website, he is “the impact of acquired brain injuries, particularly orbitofrontal injuries, on behavior, cognition, and social functioning.Clinical effects of brain injury rehabilitation techniques on social outcomes.Brain injury We are researching the long-term sequelae of Forensic neuropsychological evaluation to identify neurobehavioral deficits associated with traumatic brain injury “frontal lobe” dysfunction.
So it's clear what they're trying to do.
A 35-hour one-on-one interrogation found no evidence of mental illness. However, in a recent court appearance, Morris was returned to Caswell for a further 28 days for further “evaluation”.
However, while this ordeal is clearly traumatic for Maurice, he is not alone. We know there are others who are suffering similar treatment at the hands of this out-of-control government.
The establishment of the Fixed Threat Assessment Center is a direct attack on those of us who dare to speak out against the police state in which we live. What happens next? Mental health court? Maurice certainly thinks so, and we agree.
Mental health courts have been in place in Canada for several years. The idea behind it is that people who are considered mentally ill and charged with “minor” crimes are given the option of attending a mental health court or going through regular courts and risking a prison sentence. It is said that it will be done. Anyone who chooses the mental health court route will be closely “monitored” for compliance with any treatment regimen, including drugs. Canada's mental health courts have been hailed as a huge success. It is presented as a voluntary scheme, a “moral” contract between offenders and the courts, with offenders able to opt out at any time and face normal criminal proceedings. If the treatment program is completed, the original charge will be dropped or expunged.
Perhaps I'm just being cynical, but it's very similar to the choice given to Winston Smith at the end of 1984.
