Within the scope of its launch strategy, dmg media has agreed a deal to provide Adelicious with a slate of podcasts covering both current titles and upcoming new shows.
Since Jamie East took over as head of podcasts at dmg media in 2023, the company's audio portfolio has expanded significantly, from the hit podcast The Trial of Lucy Letby 12 months ago to now a double-digit chart-topper, primarily under the Daily Mail brand, with over 26 million listens in its first year.
Adelicious will commercially represent dmg media to brands, working closely on both podcast growth and launch strategies to drive revenue opportunities.
Craig Eastwood, commercial operations director at Adelicious, said: “The Daily Mail Group is the UK's most engaged news brand and Jamie and his team have developed one of the most ambitious and exciting line-ups we've seen for a long time.”
“This collaboration represents a tremendous opportunity for advertisers to reach podcast listeners who they know are a highly engaged and valuable audience.
“We are thrilled to welcome them to Adelicious and look forward to working together to engage listeners and secure great promotional opportunities for their shows.”
Jamie East, head of podcasts at dmg media, said: “Twelve months ago dmg media has expanded from one podcast – but a huge hit – to now a full and enviable line-up, with many more shows in the works.
“Our ambitions are big and we needed a dynamic partner who was proud to work with us, could keep up with the momentum and ensure we had access to the right brands to create the best possible content for our listeners.
“We found everything we needed in partnership with Adelicious and are very excited for the future with them.”
