Angela Lewis-Wright talks about her first steps into public politics, born out of an informed, instinctive reaction to the government's totalitarian response to Covid-19. In the absence of mainstream political opposition to that tyranny, or even mainstream media questioning of the government's narrative, she began speaking to her family, friends and wider community. This was the catalyst for her finding her political home. Free Alliance.
Her party, while rooted in resistance to the COVID-19 lockdown, now sees itself as the political wing of the freedom movement, and as such, its sphere of activity has expanded to a wide range of issues, from COVID-19 control policies to 15-minute cities, 20-minute districts, 5G base stations, traffic regulations and travel restrictions, vaccine passports, online safety legislation, and central bank digital currencies. Freedom has thus become the party’s unifying theme and rallying point.
Angela Lewis-Wright explains what a small political party can achieve by communicating ideas, engaging people, and motivating them to make things better. Essentially, she explains how it can provide an avenue for individuals to express their opinions. She summarizes her political party as people coming together to oppose the creeping totalitarianism that is affecting their lives.
Angela Lewis Wright, in discussing the principles on which her party is based, also states that true freedom is the preservation of God-given, inalienable rights. In other words, freedom is the ability to live freely, to abide by the Golden Rule, and to live without the government, state, or parliament controlling the details of our lives. Do unto others what you would like others to do unto you.
