Leading podcast marketing agency Podcast Discovery has launched Virtual Studio, an all-in-one solution that raises the bar for remote podcast video.
The Virtual Studio is a completely custom podcast studio built with 3D modeling software, complete with unique branding for each show you use.
Modeled by experts who specialize in building actual podcast studios, the virtual studio was designed to reflect the show's identity on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, ensuring branding remains visible even after the video is cropped vertically for social media.
Podcast Discovery said its research found that professionally filmed podcast clips are more than twice as likely to go viral as similar clips recorded remotely with a webcam.
Podcasters are provided with a camera and lighting setup with a green screen that can be set up by the Podcast Discovery team, who will then recreate each participant's camera height, angle and placement within the virtual studio so that it appears as if everyone is sitting in the same room.
The studio can also be used for hybrid recordings, where a real studio with some participants is recreated in 3D, making it seem as if everyone is actually there.
